Yes you read that right! Cheese..the thing we are always told to eat in moderation could hold the key to a longer life. This isn’t just because of our love of cheese, science type people say so..Canadian scientists too so you know you can trust them.
The cheesy study took place at McMaster University and looked at over 130,000 people from 21 countries. Focusing on their diet they found that having two servings a day of processed cow milk saw some major decreases in the risk of stroke and cardiovascular disease. You know what counts as a processed cow milk product ..CHEESE (sure yes yogurt and good old milk but they are far less delicious).
If that’s not enough to enjoy that extra piece, the study saw a mortality rate rise of over 40% in people who only ate half a serving a day.
