Remember the joy of writing a letter to Santa? (I also think it’s amazing that the post code in Canada works out to be HO HO HO). Of course there is an app for that now but you might not want to get it for the kids.
The Kindle app was supposed to be a ‘phone call with Santa” offering kids the chance to let the big fella know what they wanted for Christmas and to hear his jolly voice. That’s not what a woman in the UK got though.
When the call connected you could hear the not so jolly St. Nick say – “Hello, there. Can you hear me?” Which is a pretty standard way to start a phone call to the North Pole but then things took a very dark tone. The message went on to say:
“In five nights, if you’re free, I will look for you, and I will find you, and I will kill you,”
Amazon say they have removed the app although it was too late for her 3 year old daughter. The UK mom posted the video online to warn other parents before it was too late for them.
