There are going to be some big changes come October 17 and cannabis legalization especially when it comes to impaired driving but Alberta RCMP say they are ready.
400 officers have been trained on standard field sobriety tests along with 42 trained drug recognition experts. They aim to have 1200 officers trained in the next 2 years.
Officers will be able to use the cannabis testing device approved by the federal government which users saliva samples to screen for THC.
